FINDING PEACE

How to be at peace, How to find peace…

Somewhere in between finding peace and staying there for a while.  A few weeks ago I turned on the television to CNN and I noticed that there was a war taking place in the Ukraine where the entire country had been affected.

We all pray for a world, a life, a day, a moment of just peace.  As I continued to follow the stories of the Ukrainian people being displaced, forced to leave their homes, being in the middle of a place that once held a sense of freedom, after fighting for decades just to be free, in order to have a place of peace to rest in.

I prayed for everyone that is in the Ukraine, all the areas surrounding the country such as Poland, Romania, Sweden, the greater heart of Europe, as people continue their passage to safe havens so that they can all have a sense of peace.  The entire world has been affected by the diSTURBANCE of peace, the dream, the feelings we all share deep inside of us that makes us whole as human, where our most sought after dreams consist of the essential elements, definition, and complete actual meaning of peace.

When I was a child I heard stories of the wall, pieces of the wall people kept to remember Berlin.  The wall that was broken down, that caused division, disrupting lives, causing people to stand and fight for what they believed in as people, unified, to obtain that sense of peace.  Knowing when there is a sense of injustice being dealt, suppression, being held captive by those who oppose peace and those lives holding on to the feeling of peace.

As we go into next week we must remain positive, knowing that as people in this world we have seen so much over the last few decades that has shaped our lives, how we view the world, each other, and how we go about our days in life in the name of peace.  When you lose everything, believing that you have nothing, because you believe that you have lost your peace, God knows that you have yourself, and that is every reason to believe you have something to believe in.

Being able to wake up another day in order to move through the passage, across seas, into new land, places, new homes can be challenging where all we all search for is peace, all we want is what money can’t buy you.  Working on your mind.  Praying each day.  Reading books that are good for your mind to learn more about history, where you came from, how robots are made and will make our lives better in the future, watching old TV shows from your childhood, or younger days that made you smile may be pieces to your peace.

For me it has always been the love of music, art, and space.  The stars are what I believe my dreams were made of, flying, getting away, escaping reality, the cheapest vacation you can take besides a Airbnb is using your imagination to reach your destination each day.  I looked at the gas pump the other day and I noticed it had jumped because of the conflict that is occurring Globally.  I looked at where I was standing, prayed for a few seconds, and I thanked God for being in a place of peace in the moment in my life where I have time to get fuel.  Because in the Ukraine everyone is moving to safe places for their children, families, the elderly, the sick, the injured, and at that time the anxiety of the high price went away.

You may be going through a hard time in your life.  Where you can’t seem to get a moment to yourself to enjoy the sense of peace you are searching deep for.  Look around you and you will see that you already have it.  We all are truly blessed to be able to have the freedom we have to be able to make choices.  To be able to have a say, to speak freely, give opinions where we may stand.  Where in many places around the world, many can not voice their opinions.  Even those thoughts, opinions give you a sense of peace, through expression, faith that things will improve, get better, where we can move on.

Do not give up on yourself, nor do you ever ignore what is going on when you are going through hard times.  Be strong as the Ukrainian hearts on their passage to safer places until there’s a place or point of peace in this war.  Everyone in life has to go through challenges, fight battles, endure, be tested, and by facing them wisely you will gain the knowledge, wisdom to help others endure.  Today’s word is more about counting up your blessings each day, while allowing your mind to be at peace no matter what is occuring in the world.

Do not get distracted by things that do not matter or hold no value or waste your precious time.  Focus on spending more time with your happiness, with those you love, or doing what you love that is truly good.  Remember.  God will always have you, carry you, and help you through all situations you will face or see.  And never be afraid to ask for wisdom.  Prayer is powerful.  Actions, being proactive, constructive, positive, and being patient is what brings it all together.

God Bless you.  And pray for the world.  You are truly blessed.  Check out the latest design that has been added to the Paradise Collection called ‘God’s Paradise.  God has blessed me with a vision that I decided to create that artistically would help people remember how blessed they truly are each day we are given to pursue our happiness and dreams.  Peace!
